The European Cancer Organisation is looking for an enthusiastic and interested Community & Network Projects Officer to support the coordination of the activities of our Community and the implementation of impactful projects across our 10 Focused Topic Networks.
This role involves working and developing positive relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders. Close collaboration with the Chief Executive, Senior Coordinator of Community & Network Projects and members of the Policy and Communications Teams will be required.
We are looking for someone who is proactive and able to work simultaneously on multiple tasks, meetings, events and urgent matters, maintaining a keen eye to detail while working at a fast pace. Ability to multi-task and to identify priorities are key to success in this position.
As we place a high value on the creation of a positive work environment and on the development of new fruitful relationships, the ideal candidate will also have strong interpersonal skills and adaptability.
What You’ll Do
Your responsibilities will include a wide range of project management duties, including event management, meetings organisation and preparation of written communications and presentations. Occasional business travel within Europe may also be required.
Our working language is English. Candidates must already have the right to work in the EU and already be physically based in Brussels.

About the Organisation
The European Cancer Organisation is a not-for-profit federation of 42 Member Societies working in fighting cancer across the continent, together with 21 European Patient Advisory Committee members through 10 Focused Topic Networks.
We bring together patients, oncology professionals and public health experts to propose new policies, advocate change and be the united voice of the European cancer community.
