Noel has worked in men's health for over 20 years at a research, policy and advocacy level. He is director of the National Centre for Men's Health at South East Technological University in Carlow. He was lead author of Ireland's Nation al Men's Healht Policy. His main research interest is on men and masculinities, with a particular focus on engaging underserved population groups of men around mental health.
