Hendrique Reinders-Huisman

Urology Nurse Practitioner, Groningen, the Netherlands, and Scientific Congress Office Member, European Association of Urology Nurses (EAUN)

Mrs. Hendrique Reinders-Huisman, MSc, RN, is a member of the Scientific Congress Office of the European Association of Urology Nurses (EAUN). She currently works as a urology nurse practitioner at the outpatient urology clinic of Martini Hospital in Groningen, The Netherlands. Mrs. Reinders-Huisman is involved in prostate cancer diagnostics (including performing prostate biopsies) and the treatment and support of prostate cancer patients. This includes both the metastatic setting as well as localised disease. From 2016 until 2020 her focus has been on the treatment of patients with metastatic hormone sensitive prostate cancer with chemotherapy and on patients with castration-resistant prostate cancer with chemotherapy, abiraterone, enzalutamide or Radium 223. Before that she has gathered extensive knowledge of clinical trial procedures as a research nurse involved in phase three and four trials for the treatment of metastatic melanoma.
