Mihai Rotaru works as Director Market Access at EFPIA (European Federation of Pharmaceutical Industries and Associations) where he is currently responsible for overall industry engagement in the implementation of the HTA Regulation at EU level, including supporting EFPIA members’ preparations in the future system of joint clinical assessment. In addition, Mihai is also responsible for oncology policy, including management of stakeholder relationships jointly advocating for policies to sustainably increase access to innovative treatments in oncology for patients in Europe. Lastly, Mihai is involved in other market access related topics such as biotherapeutics policy and various supply chain issues (Falsified Medicines Directive, shortages and anticounterfeiting efforts).
