Prof. Corinne Balleyguier is head of the medical imaging department and head of the diagnostic imaging department at Gustave Roussy. She is a radiologist, specialized in oncological imaging and women's imaging. She leads a team of more than 30 senior radiologists, fellows and residents, accompanied by a paramedical team of more than 40 professionals.
She holds a PhD in Medical Physics since 2013 and a Habilitation to Supervise Research since 2018. His areas of interest are innovations in imaging, in particular breast imaging, clinical research in oncology imaging and the optimization of patient comfort and pathway in oncology imaging. She coordinated a national multicenter research program on the interest of MRI in the management of intraductal carcinomas of the breast, and several clinical research studies on new imaging techniques, such as contrast-enhanced mammography, ultrasound and MRI elastography or new techniques for mammographic analysis and breast cancer detection. She is responsible for France with Dr. Suzette Delaloge of the MyPebs clinical trial, evaluating a risk-stratified breast cancer screening program. She is an associate editor of the European Journal of Radiology and past-president of the French Society for Women's Imaging. She is the author of more than 200 publications in scientific journals.
