Ilya’s focus centered on shaping the company's strategy in oncology, engaging in bilateral development initiatives beneficial for health systems, and the industrial technology vendor in tailoring solutions for cancer care.
Prior to his current role at GE HealthCare, Dr. Gipp began his career as a radiologist, and diagnostic imaging department chair in 2001. Then throughout his healthcare industry tenure, Dr. Gipp has been closely collaborating with leading health systems and governmental bodies worldwide on diverse projects aiming at advancing medicine and improving access to quality care.
Dr. Gipp laid the academic groundwork for his medical career by earning a Doctor of Medicine degree. Following this achievement, he attained a Doctor of Philosophy in diagnostic imaging in 2006. Ilya has 50 publications in peer-reviewed journals related to various areas of diagnostic imaging, oncology, healthcare management and informatics.
Dr. Gipp’s engagements include initiatives such as the Biden Cancer Moonshot, Europe's Beating Cancer Plan, as well as dedicated support for the American Cancer Society, National Lung Cancer Roundtable, iELCAP, PRECEED/TrovaNow, and AdMeTech Foundation.
