Professor of Men's Health at Leeds Beckett University

Alan White PHD, is Emeritus Professor of Men’s Health at Leeds Beckett University and the Patron of the Men’s Health Forum (Great Britain). He has recently been working with the UK Government’s Health Select Committee whilst they were looking at the health of men. His previous work includes leading on the European Commission ‘The State of Men’s Health in Europe’ Report and was a member of the WHO (Regional Office for Europe) core group helping prepare their report on Men’s Health. Alan has worked with Cancer Research UK on their ‘Excess Burden of Cancer in Men’ reports and an analysis of sex/gender differences in colorectal cancer.
