Veronika Cifrová Ostrihoňová is a former journalist and politician known for her active engagement in social, health, and public issues. A graduate of New York University, she was elected in 2024 as a Member of the European Parliament representing Slovakia. She serves on the Committee on Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs (LIBE) and the Committee on Women’s Rights and Gender Equality (FEMM), where she focuses on women’s rights, freedom of media, and the rule of law. Veronika is committed to advocating for gender equality, mental health, and social justice across Slovakia and the European Union.
