Chair, EULAR Committee of Health Professionals in Rheumatology

Ricardo Ferreira, PhD, RN, is an Auxiliar Researcher at the Nursing Research, Innovation and Development Centre of Lisbon (CIDNUR), a differentiated unit of the School of Nursing in Lisbon (ESEL), and a researcher at the Rheumatology Department of the Centro Hospitalar e Universitário de Coimbra (CHUC). He served in different roles on the European Alliance of Associations for Rheumatology (EULAR), namely as chair of the Health Professionals Committee and is currently a member of the Advocacy Committee. Through the EULAR, he is involved in the Coalition for Reducing Bureaucracy in Clinical Trials, coordinated by the European Hematological Association and the BioMed Alliance.
