Dr. Najy Alsayed, MD, M.Sc. MBA is the Global Therapeutic Area Head for Infectious Diseases at Menarini Group.

His over 25 years’ experience covers various disease fields including Cardiovascular, Oncology, Orphan Medicines and Infectious Disease & vaccines among leading Global Pharma and Biotech companies.

Prior joining Pharma, he practiced for several years as clinician in internal medicine & nephrology and as a researcher in CV & lipid metabolism in Paris, France and at the NIH in Bethesda, USA.
He is a lecturing professor at EUDIPHARM University of Lyon-France, a keynote speaker and a primary author of a number of international publications.

He is also a member of the European Society of Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases (ESCMID), the European Society for Pediatric Infectious Diseases (ESPID), The European Society of Intensive Care Medicine (ESICM), the Infectious Diseases Society of America (IDSA) and a Board member in 2 Biotech companies and at AMR industry alliance.
