European Commission Official, 'Performance of National Health Systems' Unit, DG SANTE

Federico Pratellesi is a European Commission official who works in the 'Performance of National Health Systems' Unit of the DG for Health Food Safety (SANTE).

He is the coordinator of the knowledge-sharing project "State of Health in the EU" in collaboration with the OECD and the European Observatory on Health Systems and Policies. He is also a health systems analyst for Hungary, Slovakia and Ireland involved in the development of their Recovery and Resilience Plans and the European Semester economic coordination process. He was the secretary of the EU Expert Group on Health System Performance Assessment (HSPA) from 2018 to 2020. Federico holds an MSc in public policy and management from the London School of Economics (LSE).
