
Her clinical and research expertise centers on chest imaging, with a particular focus on thoracic oncology, including lung cancer, pulmonary nodules, lung cancer screening and implementation of artificial intelligence.
She plays an active role in various professional societies, including the European Society of Radiology, European Society of Thoracic Imaging, European School of Radiology and European Respiratory Society.
Professor Snoeckx is passionate about education on thoracic oncology topics. She authored or co-authored 100 papers in peer-reviewed journals and has lectured at many national and international meetings and courses. She is co-founder of the Flemish Taskforce Lung Cancer Screening and principal investigator of the Flemish lung cancer screening implementation study ZORALCS.
