Prof. Mihaela Grigore is Chief of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at “Grigore T. Popa” University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Iasi, Romania. A dedicated gynecologist-obstetrician, she specializes in cervical, vaginal, and vulvar pathology. She currently serves as Vice President of the Romanian Society of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Vice President of the Romanian Society of Gynecologic Oncology, and Secretary of the Romanian Society of Colposcopy and Inferior Genital Tract Pathology.
Prof. Dr. Mihaela Grigore is deeply committed to advancing cervical cancer screening and has published extensively on the subject. Passionate about medical education and clinical training, she has organized two ESGO workshops on colposcopy and cervical cancer, as well as an advanced EFC (European Federation of Colposcopy) colposcopy courses. She is also a member of the Executive Committee of the ESGO Prevention Group and board member of the EFC.
Beyond her clinical and academic roles, Dr. Grigore is a strong advocate for evidence-based medicine. She is the founder and advisory board member of Cochrane Romania, contributing to the integration of high-quality research into clinical practice.
