
Tatjana Kofol Bric is a medical doctor specialised in public health. At the National Institute of Public Health of Slovenia, she is a senior researcher in the field of monitoring and reporting on population health. With health indicators and data topics experience she participated in working groups of European workplace health statistics and different indicators groups. She is co-editor of the national health inequalities reports.
As deputy head of the Cancer screening unit at the National Institute of Public Health, she has contributed to the Slovenian colorectal cancer screening program – Program Svit management since 2013. Her tasks include monitoring and on site evaluation of program organisation and results, reports preparation, guidelines and indicators development, promotion of the program and communication with different public. Internationally, she actively participated in European cancer screening report preparation and in EU-Topia projects.
Since 2023, she has been involved in gastric cancer screening implementation research on screen and treat Helicobacter pylori strategy as coordinator of National Institute of Public Health activities in the already finished EUROHELICAN project, ongoing TOGAS project and JA EUCanScreen.
