Senior Programme Manager, Living With and Beyond Cancer, NHS England

Lesley is passionate about improving the quality of life for people affected by cancer. She joined the NHS England Cancer Programme in early 2018 and is leading the work to deliver the strategy on Living With and Beyond Cancer which includes implementation of personalisation of cancer care, the redesign of follow up and improving psychosocial support.

Prior to this, she led the National (England) Cancer Survivorship Initiative’s programme on consequences of treatment to raise awareness of the impact on quality of life, test new service models and produce clinical guidance.

She is also a trustee at UK patient support charity The Pelvic Radiation Disease Association.
