Joshi Hogenboom

Epidemiologist and PhD-candidate in data science. 

Joshi is an epidemiologist and biomedical researcher, currently pursuing a full-time PhD in Clinical Data Science at Maastricht University.  In partnership with the Dutch Cancer Registry and the other STRONG-AYA partners, Joshi will set up the digital infrastructure and technical means to learn from geographically dispersed data pools to improve health access and health outcomes for adolescents and young adults with cancer. As a data scientist, he bridges across the complex technical parts and real world learning from massed data. Joshi collaborates with ethicists, data security jurists, AYA patients, and treating clinicians to derive actionable knowledge and build insightful visualisations of pan-European AYA data.
