Dr. Nelya Melnitchouk is the President and CEO of the non-profit organization Global Medical Knowledge Alliance with the mission to improve cancer care through patient and physician education, enhanced communication, and quality improvement programs in Ukraine and globally. She is also a board-certified practicing surgeon specializing in the field of colorectal surgery at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital and the Dana Farber Cancer Institute (DFCI) in Boston, USA, as well as an Assistant Professor of Surgery at Harvard Medical School. She is the Program Director for the Colorectal Surgery Fellowship and leads the Program in Peritoneal Surface Malignancy at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital/Dana Farber Cancer Institute.
