Wendy Duggleby

Dr. Wendy Duggleby is a Professor Emerita in the Faculty of Nursing at the University of Alberta where she was an endowed research chair in Aging and Quality of Life. She has held leadership positions such as Associate Dean of Research and Vice Dean.

Wendy and her research teams have developed and evaluated several interventions to foster hope and quality of life in older persons and their family caregivers with national and provincial funding support. She is the co-founder of Nav-CARE (Navigation-Connecting, Advocating, Resourcing and Engaging) with Dr. Barb Pesut at the University of British Columbia Okanagan.
