Carla Reigada, PhD

Carla Reigada is currently working on research quality, knowledge transfer and public involvement approaches in several EU research projects.
She is a senior social worker, researcher and educator with extensive experience working in interdisciplinary clinical teams in both cancer and non-cancer care environments. Her involvement in international studies is marked by a focus on qualitative approaches and participatory methodologies like action research, co-creation, design thinking, and innovation.
For five years, Carla was a member of the Portuguese Government's Palliative Care Committee to implement palliative care in the public health system.
