Clinical Nurse Manager, Beaumont Hospital, Ireland

Allyson has worked in Beaumont Hospital in oncology and haematology for 23 years, covering a variety of roles: from staff nurse, Oncology Education Coordinator teaching the PG Dip in Cancer Care and Clinical Nurse Manager of the Oncology Day Ward. She currently works as the Clinical Practice Support Nurse, educating staff in haematology and oncology and develops policies and guidelines in conjunction with their medical oncologists, senior nursing staff and ACU pharmacists.

Allyson is a member of the National Clinical Nurse Facilitators in Cancer Care and a founding member of the National Immunotherapy Nurse Forum. She is also a member of the National Cancer Information System Implementation Board under the governance of the National Cancer Control Programme.
