Cecilia Schott, Vice President, Global Head Precision Diagnostics, Novartis

Cecilia Schott, PharmD, MBA is the Vice President, Global Head Precision Diagnostics at Novartis where she leads the global go-to market strategies and execution for the Novartis global strategy of drug-diagnostic programs.
She has over 20 years of experience in pharmaceutical and diagnostic development, and commercialization.
Prior to joining Novartis, Cecilia established the AstraZeneca’s portfolio of partnerships with diagnostic companies and clinical labs, implementing new collaboration business models to enable global access to diagnostic testing technologies delivered through drug launches and beyond.
Cecilia held leading roles across organizations, including Biogen and Boston Scientific and her experience spans from Global Business Development, US & Global Medical Affairs including Medical Publications, Medical Information, Drug Safety and Clinical Trial Operations.
She graduated from the University of Sao Paulo School of Pharmacy, earned her Doctor of Pharmacy from the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and her MBA from Babson College.
