Brunelli Cinzia is senior researcher at Fondazione IRCCS Istituto Nazionale Tumori - Milano and chairperson of the Cancer Outcome Research Working Group of the Organization of European Cancer Institutes (OECI).
She has contributed significantly to the conception and management of several multicentre research projects and has actively participated in national and international networks in cancer research.
Her main research interests include: patient reported outcome measurement (PROMs) assessment and implementation in clinical practice, telemedicine, cancer pain treatment, assessment and classification, patient-clinicians communication, systematic review and guidelines development methodology.
She is PI of the project “PATIENT VOICES Integration of Systematic Assessment of Patient Reported Outcomes Within clinical oncology practice“ and co-PI of the project “Palliative care needs and prognostic factors assessment for appropriate referral to specialized palliative care services” funded by the Italian Ministry of Health. She is also WP leader of patient engagement area in “CCE-DART : Building data rich clinical trials”, (https://cce-dart.com/) and co-PI of the recently EU funded project “EUonQoL-Quality of Life in Oncology: measuring what matters for cancer patients and survivors in Europe” (https://euonqol.eu/).
