Cyrille Isaac-Sibille, born on 30 April 1958, is an otorhinolaryngologist (ENT specialist).
From 1995 to 2008, he served as Deputy Mayor of Sainte-Foy-lès-Lyon (69). In 2002, he founded the Rhône Departmental Union of Municipal Centres for Social Action (CCAS) and presided over it until 2008. Initially a municipal councillor, he was later elected as Member of Parliament for the 12th constituency of Rhône during the 2017 legislative elections.
He became Secretary of the Social Affairs Committee and was appointed President of the Mission for Evaluating and Monitoring Social Security Financing Laws. In both 2022 and 2024, he was re-elected as the MP for the twelfth constituency.
His work focuses on healthcare, with a particular emphasis on public health issues, prevention, and health promotion. He has authored three information reports commissioned by the Social Affairs Committee:
He also initiated a roadmap for ‘A Systemic Health Prevention Policy’ alongside Professor Franck Chauvin and Senator Xavier Iacovelli, developed with contributions from 300 coalition members.
In July 2023, following the discovery of significant per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) pollution in his constituency and after 18 months of advocacy in the National Assembly and with government ministries, then-Prime Minister Elisabeth Borne assigned him a six-month governmental mission. His report proposed 18 recommendations, including the prohibition of industrial PFAS discharges, the establishment of toxicological reference values, and improved information for both elected officials and the public.
