Dominika Kormanová is a Slovak patient advocate and a board member of Europa Donna - The European Breast Cancer Coalition. She was diagnosed with breast cancer at the age of 32, which led her to join a community of women in Slovakia who helped her realise she was not alone. Motivated by this support, she later led the community for three years and became actively involved in patient advocacy.
Today, Dominika focuses primarily on patient advocacy and health policy, particularly at the national level in Slovakia, while also engaging in European discussions through Europa Donna. Her work addresses issues such as access to medicines, patient pathways, and the development of Comprehensive Cancer Centres.
