Doug Pyle
Vice President, Center for Global Impact, ASCO
Mr. Pyle is responsible for directing the global initiatives of the American Society of Clinical Oncology, an organization representing more than 50,000 healthcare professionals treating people with cancer in more than 170 countries around the world.
Mr. Pyle joined ASCO in 2007 with a background in global health in the public, nonprofit and corporate sectors. Previous to ASCO, Mr. Pyle was the Director of Business Solutions for the International Services department of the American Red Cross, where he led strategic process improvements to the organization's global humanitarian operations, including the Red Cross’ emergency response and recovery efforts related to the 2004 Tsunami disaster and PEPFAR-funded programs in Africa and Asia.
Mr. Pyle earned a bachelor's degree in history from Carleton College and a master's degree in business administration from Yale University.
