Enis Hasanović was born in 1970 in Skopje, where he graduated from the Faculty of Medicine. After moving from Skopje, he began his professional career in Goražde as a general practitioner, head of the Emergency Service, and head of the Women’s Health Dispensary. In 2004, he specialised in gynaecology and obstetrics at the Clinical Centre of the University of Sarajevo (KCUS). Since 2008, he has worked in Sarajevo at the Institute for the Protection of Women and Motherhood, initially as a gynaecologist, then as the head of the service in Ilidža, and, since 2020, as the director of the Institute.
He was a member of the KCUS Board of Directors from 2010 to 2014. Hasanović has participated in numerous educational programmes, projects, seminars, and conferences focused on the advancement of gynaecology. He has made a significant contribution to the development of healthcare institutions and successfully led teams in securing accreditation and certification for several medical institutions. He is the developer of screening programmes for cervical and breast cancer. For his work in healthcare safety and quality, he has received numerous awards and recognitions.
