Fernanda Conceicao

Oncology Nurse Team Leader, Champalimaud Foundation Clinical Center

Fernanda is a Portuguese cancer nurse for twenty years, with a postgraduate in cancer care and currently doing a master´s in health management. Is the leader of one Champalimaud Foundation Clinical Center teams and is a board member of the national oncology nursing society - AEOP. She is also a member of the advocacy working group of the European Oncology Nursing Society (EONS) since 2018.

She believes cancer nursing is a fundamental step towards universal, patient centered and quality cancer care and envisions a future where cancer nurses will contribute to a more effective leadership for the major cancer care endeavors.
