Linda Abboud is a senior scientist at the Cancer Centre of Sciensano, focusing on implementation, monitoring and evaluation of cancer policies in Belgium. Linda has over 5 years of experience in EU-wide projects related to health information systems and secondary use of health data. This includes the coordination of the Joint Action on Health Information (InfAct), where she led the development of a proof of concept and business case for setting up a Distributed Infrastructure on Population Health (PHIRI).
She continued this work in the Joint Action towards the European Health Data Space (TEHDAS) focusing on stakeholder engagement and outreach where she led multiple country visits in which countries’ readiness for the future European Health Data Space was mapped. She holds an MSc in Global health from Maastricht University (NL) and an MSc in Epidemiology from Antwerp University (BE).
