Marek Krajčí welcomed European Cancer Organisation (ECO) CEO Mike Morrissey on his first visit to the Slovak parliament in Bratislava. During this momentous occasion, ECO presented data on inequalities in the European Cancer Pulse and unveiled its national campaign to implement EI Screening Recommendations.

On that occasion, ECO published its first European Cancer Pulse Country Report. 

The discussion focused on the practical steps required to transform the new EU Council Recommendations on Cancer Screening into a reality in each country, with a particular emphasis on the vital role of data in measuring inequalities in cancer. Additionally, the conversation revolved around the introduction of Europe's Beating Cancer Plan in Slovakia.

Marek is a founding member of National & European Parliamentarians for Cancer Action.
