Rudi Dierckx

Prof. Dr. Rudi A. J. O. Dierckx

Rudi Dierckx studied as an MD (board certified in neuropsychiatry and nuclear medicine), PhD and MBA. 

He is full professor and head of the Department of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging at the University Medical Centre Groningen (the Netherlands) since 2005. Before he was the Head of the department of nuclear medicine at the University Hospital in Ghent (Belgium). He also was 8.8 years the head of the Department of Radiology in Groningen until 2022. His research encompasses many publications on oncological imaging and radionuclide therapy, in Belgium at the Ghent University Hospital. 

He is the current EANM President 2023-2024.
