MEP, Vice-chair of the Public Health Committee (SANT) and Co-Chair of the Intergroup on Cancers and Rare Diseases

Tilly Metz is the vice-chair of the SANT Committee, and she is Co-Chair of the European Parliament Intergroup on Cancer and Rare Diseases, where she works to strengthen EU cooperation on cancer prevention, early detection and equitable access to high-quality treatment.

She also serves as the Greens/EFA shadow rapporteur on the implementation of Europe's Beating Cancer Plan, with a particular focus on improving patient-centred cancer care pathways.

Throughout her work in the European Parliament, she has been a strong advocate for patients' rights, cross-border healthcare and reducing inequalities in access to high-quality care. Her work consistently promotes a one health approach to cancer policy across the European Union.
