Yannick Neuder is a French cardiologist. He has been serving as the Deputy for Isère's 7th constituency in the National Assembly since June 2022. Additionally, Neuder holds the position of 10th Vice-President of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Region, where he is responsible for higher education, research and innovation, health, and European funds.
Neuder has a strong commitment to cancer prevention and treatment. He emphasises the importance of prevention, early detection, comprehensive care, and innovation in combating cancer. His active participation in events such as the 60th anniversary of Unicancer, a French federation of cancer centres, highlights his dedication to advancing cancer prevention through innovation.
In his regional role, Neuder has been involved in initiatives to enhance cancer research and care infrastructure. He participated in the inauguration of the new International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) headquarters in Lyon, reflecting his support for global cancer research efforts.
Through his legislative and regional responsibilities, Neuder continues to advocate for policies that prioritise cancer prevention, research, and equitable access to care, aiming to reduce the cancer burden in France and beyond.
Since 23 December 2024, he serves in François Bayrou's government as delegated minister for health and access to care.
