The European Cancer Organisation hosted a high-level Community 365 Roundtable on how workforce challenges in oncology are impacting patient care and limiting equitable access to innovation. Through three focused panels, on cancer nursing workforce conditions, the workforce needs of precision cancer medicine, and the twin workforce and innovation requirements of radioligand therapy, the discussion highlighted pressing skills gaps in cancer care.
Participants explored strategies to strengthen the workforce, propose policy solutions at national and European levels, and engage with decision-makers to drive change.
