Our Member Societies

As the not-for-profit federation of Member Societies working in cancer at a European level, the European Cancer Organisation convenes oncology professionals and patients to agree policy, advocate for positive change and speak up for the European cancer community.

Each of our 42 Member Societies provide specific expertise in their discipline or profession in cancer. Each of our Focused Topic Networks is led by two or more representatives of our Member Societies.

Associate Members

Our Associate Members are part of our community and receive all relevant ECO communications, including invitations for meetings, events and calls for future EU funded project applications. However, according to our Statutes, Associate Members do not have any decision-making power: they do not receive General Assembly voting rights or have the right to nominate candidates for the ECO Board, and also do not participate in the Policy Approval Pathway.

Collaborations

Membership of the European Cancer Organisation is the highest level of governance and engagement with the European Cancer community.  In addition, we have ongoing collaboration agreements to ensure we work together with other international organisations who share our mission:
