In February, the TRANSiTION project achieved significant milestones by initiating three notable events: A workshop on curriculum development, it’s Second Steering Committee meeting, and a hybrid awareness event for the TRANSiTION and INCISIVE Projects.
On 16 February, the TRANSiTION team travelled to Universitat Oberta de Catalunya, in Barcelona, to carry out a workshop on curriculum development on digital skills for cancer professionals. During this session, the team shared the preliminary modules with project partners and received valuable feedback as well as external validation on the content. The modules presented included areas such as communication tools, data sharing and privacy, with plans to involve both clinical and non-clinical professionals.
Comments and suggestions are still being gathered and these will be key for the consolidation of the final materials.
A few days later, on 19 February, the TRANSITION Steering committee met up to review the results of the workshop, discuss overall project progress and align on future steps to ensure the quality of the materials.
Finally, on 27 February, an Awareness Event on two EU Funded projects, namely INCISIVE and TRANSiTION, was held in person at the Cyprus University of Technology and online. During the event, project leaders and researchers had the opportunity to share the scope and ambitions of the project, as well as to catch up with them on the progress in module creation. The event gave the opportunity to raise awareness among relevant stakeholders in Cyprus, other member states and beyond. The session wrapped up with a fruitful Q&A, which invited attendees to share their visions and feedback on digital skills training for cancer professionals.
