On this World Pancreatic Cancer Day, UEG has released its latest report on Pancreatic Cancer, endorsed by the European Cancer Organisation among others.
The report 'Pancreatic Cancer Across Europe - Taking a united stand' provides a concise overview on the state of pancreatic cancer across the continent. UEG and its partners are also calling on six initiatives to transform pancreatic cancer outcomes by 2035, which include an increase in research funding and the delivery of a pan-European standard of care.
Commenting on the report, President of the European Cancer Organisation, Philip Poortmans, said:
“We must join forces to increase the pace at which we improve our responses to pancreatic cancer. We all have our part to play in reversing the neglected status of pancreatic #cancer & improving the lives of our patients.”
