Celebrating World Immunization Week 2025

World Immunization Week 2025 (24–30 April) is a campaign led by the World Health Organization to highlight the life-saving power of vaccines.

At the European Cancer Organisation, we are proud to support this initiative by raising awareness of the critical role of HPV and hepatitis B vaccination in cancer prevention. These vaccines are among the most effective tools we have in the fight against seven different cancers.

This year, our campaign focuses on four key priorities:

  • Promoting public awareness of HPV and hepatitis B vaccines to prevent cancers
  • Combating misinformation through clear, science-based messaging
  • Encouraging access to routine and catch-up vaccination and highlighting national reimbursement programmes
  • Advocating for gender-neutral vaccination and equitable access across all regions of Europe

To support these efforts, we have prepared a social media toolkit to help you join and amplify this campaign. It includes:

  • Ready-to-use messages tailored for different platforms
  • Suggested hashtags to increase reach
  • Campaign visuals you can pair with your posts.

Please download the toolkit using the button below.

And remember, you can also engage with the campaign via ECO's social media channels. More information can always be found via ECO's HPV page, the PROTECT-EUROPE project's page and ECO's HPV and Hep B Action Network page.

Thank you for your continued commitment to our shared goal: the elimination of vaccine-preventable cancers.
